About the Game:

This game starts to explore the traditional Japanese calendar, specifically the 24 major divisions of seasons and the 72 micro-seasons, each named after phenomena related to nature and agriculture. Each of these micro-seasons is about 5 days long.

While they are not used in day to day life in the modern era, they do offer a synchronicity with nature that is often missing in the modern busyness of life.

About the project:

This is my first Ink game and allowed me to figure out a LOT of new coding techniques, including basic Ink coding, functions, and conditional divert. In the future I would love to add images and sound to this project, as well as continue into the rest of the seasons.
